ICSC Welcomes University of Oklahoma Price Scholars

During the wintery days of the polar vortex, ICSC warmly welcomed members of the University of Oklahoma's Price Business School. The Business School, now named for OU alum and NYC financier Michael Price, supports academic scholarships and educational opportunities for a small group of stand out students each year. The "Price Scholars," along with Thomas Greenlee, Director of Career Services at the Price School, and Eddie Edwards, Exectuvie Director, MBA Program, attended a lunch program at ICSC on January 6, 2012. The Price Scholars will spend the summer, between their first and second years in the MBA program, studying at New York University's Stern School of Business, while interning at various companies.

Students enjoyed a presentation by ICSC member Jason Greenstone, part of the retailing services department at Cushman Wakefield. Greenstone offered general strategies on internships and job searches, along with details of Cushman & Wakefield's new "Professional Real Estate Program" (PREP), which cultivates outstanding recent graduates for an innovative career development program in commercial real estate, based in the New York City Tri-State area. The Oklahomans were also joined by Michael P. Kercheval, President & CEO of ICSC, who presented an overview of the industry and the association's activities. The meeting was organized by ICSC staff Sarah Ritchie, an OU alumna.
